I can't do much more than I do now on stock 235's. If I try to boost, I spin. If I boost a little it spins a little. That and my OD is having issues.
FWIW, my old w250 manual ran those first 2 times you have listed. Your auto is doing good.

I had more than 3/4 of a tank. I also run bald Firestone Steeltex tires in a 235 width out back. I had my foot on the throttle just enough to take the slack out of the TV cable, so I was still under 1000 rpms and thus making zero or near zero boost.

RCCUMMINS89 wrote:What lift pump are you using? I never sucked anything dry with the factory lift pump.... with 3/8" supply and 5/16 return, and that was with zero psi of fuel pressure and dynoing over 400.

I have a Cummins low pressure piston pump and factory fuel lines, which I believe to be 5/16" both ways. I've never had this issue before on the street or dyno. Kind of puzzles me.

I was wondering size that trailer is also. Kinda small to be to do real work with. I heard that's what his gf says too.

I wouldn't say your lift pump is doing that. What's your AFC line like?

It's a 1/2" poly line with a ball valve in it that serves as my valet switch. Granted I don't have a tach and I had a Duramax at full tilt in my ear, but I think the engine severely hiccupped or died and then came back a little farther down the track. Can the AFC have that big of an impact?

Pic is a little late, I've had it home all weekend and already swapped core supports and have fenders hanging on it now. Besides the DP dumping right under the x-fer case shifter hole, it's a pretty nice ride.

The GM rims look nice, now just need some dodge center caps.

No idea how long it is but, you're right, it's not very. We towed a '56 power wagon on it Sunday, so it's technical long enough for a longbed pickup.

It's nice for hauling skid steers and mini-hoes around, the climb up the ramps isn't as bad as the normal gooseneck we've got with the moveable dovetail.

Haha hoes.

On another note that s480 is wicked. I didn't have a chance to make a video because the semi was going as fast as I was

Here's my project for the weekend. It usually runs but didn't have spark, and it hasn't stopped in a while so I'll be digging into the brakes. Little cousin wants to get this one driveable, then we've got another one with a rough body.

Image

I'm thinking since none of you bastards want my truck frame we'll just throw the other body on it with the RC drivetrain. He wants to put a cummins in it eventually, so it'll pretty much be ready for whatever 1stgen drivetrain we track down to bolt in.

I officially hate you Levi  . I love old WDX power wagons, always wanted one, just don't have the deep pockets to buy a decent one, settled for an M37 instead.

Nice looking truck, with a winch nonetheless

That's funny, I personally prefer the M-37's.

They're all technically my cousin's trucks, my dad got out of the military truck game a few years too early for me to benefit, this was one of his old trucks he sold to my uncle.

Honestly, when the body on my old dodge finally evaporates I may look into some older iron to reskin it. It's not like panels from the 50's are any harder to find than 1stgen panels.

Okay can someone tell me where the length difference is made up on a 8' bed when compared to a 6'? I'm trying to figure out if its longer in front and back or just the front. Clear as mud?

I'm pretty sure they just add length to in front of the wheels for long beds.

So I put another head gasket on my truck.........didn't re surface anything or nothing... just flopped another one on there. Truck runs a little stronger now to say the least.
