I remember reading and seeing pictures of someone making a long bed a short bed and I think it was on dtr. I remember them cutting out the front of the bed and then behind the rear wheel well....for some reason .....but I can't find the article.....

So today took a turn for the worse. Our 12 f-550 decided to remember it was and ford, and completely shut itself down. We sat for a while, pulled some of the exhaust sensors (which didn't help anything) then it decided it was alright, and fired up. Looks like it's going to losing some weight in the near future

They're all technically my cousin's trucks, my dad got out of the military truck game a few years too early for me to benefit, this was one of his old trucks he sold to my uncle.

Honestly, when the body on my old dodge finally evaporates I may look into some older iron to reskin it. It's not like panels from the 50's are any harder to find than 1stgen panels.

I haven't seen any WDX's with the 6bt, usually its the 4bt backed by a nv4500. I know the common swap into an M37 is the 4bt backed by either the nv4500 or Spicer 3053a out of a multi fuel duece. That or a 6.2 gm diesel with mentioned trans.
There is a guy over on g741.org who took a reg cab 92 w250 and set the M37 sheet metal on the 92 running gear. He went all out with it, but last time I wandered to his build thread, it was looking pretty bitchin'

This picture was pretty depressing...

On the ridiculously rare chance this ever happened, I don't think my blower would squeeze in there.

I can beat that, I turbo'd the 6.2 I'm swaping into mine, uses a gm-5 bw turbo mid mount on the exhaust manifold. I had to notch the fender to clear the waste gate actuater. Plus, I'm probably going to lose half that bolt in fender shield to run the exhaust out the pass fender well. I'll get some pics tonight after work.

Here ya go Levi, would have had them on earlier, phone and I had a disagreement

Side note, looking at re entering some hmmwv rims to run bigger cheaper tires on the M37. Question is, I can buy new centers cut to my pattern, but Im cheap and have access to a laser table capable of burning 1" plate steel. However, I'm not sure what grade of steel to use. Standard A36 hotroll seems to soft and easily bend able.
Anybody got any ideas or suggestions? I hate to cut up good m37 rims just for the centers

Which fb page? I liked the 1stgen.org page but it hasn't had activity since 2008 or so.

I think he's talking about "1st gen dodge diesels" and the smoke thread Jon started. Other than that, everything was about normal.
