There's a lot of crap to cut out of there, it's not what I would call a fun job. :yuck:
I'm gonna run the strap up and weld another piece onto the front fender to bolt together there, it really seems to need the support down there. My front clip wiggles around like crazy with them unbolted. I'm also missing some inner fender bolts too, and the front fenders are pretty rusty, as you can see. The core support seems to be almost completely held in place by them.

Are those tires the old at's or the ct's Levi?

They look pretty tame and mastercrafts are generally (relatively) cheap. I hate these mud tires I have now.

Levi, I like those rims. 8)

We got the doors and fenders of the white truck painted yesterday, the cab panels are all welded in and the seams have a coat of bondo on them. It's getting there! Today I brought it back from my buddies house and we stuck it in the tent. It's weird driving with no doors. I guess it's a jeep thing, I don't understand.

Courser C/T

They're loud little buggers, but not bad tires so far. I threw them on myself so they've got a decent wobble to them around 45-55 mph. Gonna buy some beads to throw in them.

Can't beat them for the price though.

Those are Level 8 brand, Punch model, Pete. 17x8, -6 offset. They rub the draglink a little at full right, and get into the front fenders pretty bad when you twist it up. No contact besides the draglink on flat ground.

I had planned to do that same deal to may last rc. Until I saw how much I had to cut out and lost interest. Nearly all the truck guys around here run some kind of mastercraft. The home store for the Best One chain of shops is based around here and they move alot of them. Theyre quite popular, especially the ct, and have a pretty good rep around here. I once had a set of courser otd's. They wore like iron and its rumored they quite making them since they lasted so long.

They quit making the OTD many years ago. That's all we use to run back in the day. Man do I miss those $98 tires.

You can't really complain too much about tires that are less than $10 each can you Levi?

Most people I've known that have run those tires have had good luck out of them. They seemed to last well for a fairly aggressive tire.

So after 13 days on I finally got 1 day off yesterday. I think I've got somewhere around 60 hours of double time this pay period. I really don't want to do that again soon. Spent yesterday resting, and change jaegers steady bearing. It didn't fix any of the noise, so my issue must be wheel bearings or axle u-joints (the noise seems to be getting worse too which is a little worrying)

Well i might be trading my cousin a 96 intrepid that was wrecked for a 02 Dodge 1500 360 4x4 that has a bad oil leak. He said he was looking for a car because hes sick of his truck and i told him id trade him straight across and he agreed. 6months after he bought it, it threw a rod so dad and i put a 98 360 in it. So if it comes down to it ill toss a more reliable 318 in it.

Wtf is wrong with people and there idea of a reasonable price?

Local guy put his 1st Gen up for sale, seen it around for a couple years, generally sat more than he used it. '91 D250, Cummins, auto. Entire truck has been spray bombed bed liner. Cab corners, rear fender lips, above windshield and upper roof, flat gone. Rockers surprisingly intact. Bed looks to have been used to haul rock entire life. Wheel wells smashed down, bed floor wavy, head board and tailgate beat to hell.
Interior iffy. Water stained dash, door panels caked black with grease and dirt. Carpet and bench seat just as bad.
Hacked trailer brake controller, wiring hanging all over inside and under hood. Several splices, extra wires, plow solenoids wired in a couple spots.
Trans coolers have been disconnected and looped together, looks like the heat exchanger was still in play

Ad reads "elec issues, rear lights don't always work, as well as other minor issues. Power steering leaks, makes noise"
Does have the banks intercooler, intake horn, and associated piping installed.

Asking $5000 firm, so I call him to see his reasoning for the price, says cause its got the Cummins motor, and only 87,xxx miles, its like its a brand new truck.

Some peoples kids
'93 W350 5spd Getrag, 4.10 gears, 83k miles and counting, Mods: LPPP AKA Ma Dually
'54 Dodge M37 6.2/700R4/205, 5.89 gears, WC rear axle
