No idea what they are Jon. It's allegedly only got a 4k governor spring in it but it seems to run decent and it gets hot quick. It was played with and truck pulled some before I got it.

I would throw that turbo on. Obviously it won't spool like a 35, but with the big turbine and housing should make for great towing power.

I wasn't very impressed with it on my 1st gen, it seemed to run hotter than my hybrid did. I did try to drive it different, keep the rpms up and not lug it, etc because I knew if I lugged it it would be worse.

Really? I thought those were supposed to be the bee's knees on first gens. I'd put it on the FRT anyways. You'll never know how it works if you don't try it out.

So I had to rescue my dad today. Him and my brother went for an overnight motorcycle trip yesterday (dad on his Ducati st4, and my brother on his diavel) for whatever reason the st4 just shut 1 cylinder off, so I got a call, and they limped it a little closer to home, and here's where we met.

Then I got to looking at my fog lights, and noticed what Ike meant when he said one looked like it was pointed at the ground. I turned it up a bunch, and it's much better now. Still way to the side, but lights up the ditch just like the other one does

Drove the Rc 160 miles today, at 80mph. Makes some weird funky noises (the diesel clattering......but just sounds odd). May be the increased compression, or ?. But it didn't blow up yet, and it went through less than 1/4 tank in that trip.

I'm somewhat ruined with the 06's power and speed. The RC is a great daily, and has a lot of POWER, but I kind of quickly boosted it a few times (I think it'll be close to 45# of boost). It kind of felt like a tractor. I don't think there will be a lot of go fast speed.

That's good to hear it hasn't blown up. Does it shift better now with what you did to the input shaft?

I was thinking of going with 6x13's when I finally got around to building my ve 24v

I'm glad that worked out.

In other news our federal election is today. I did my part, so I get to complain if I don't like the outcome

Yeah I washed it after I got back. Last year I washed it before I left, and ran into tons of rain. This year weather was great until a few drops on my final leg home

I would say no, not crazy as long as you have cruise control. Did 8 hours almost straight in The Roo Hunter once without cruise, and my foot hurt after I got done.

On an unfortunate note the results of Canada's federal election left a moron in charge who's going to spend ignorant amounts of money that'll essentially send our failing economy so far in debt I don't know what'll happen. In this moment I'm not especially proud of where I'm from, and that saddens me a bit. I might look into staying just long enough to finish my schooling, and go live somewhere else. The whole generation screwed is taking on another meaning now. At least bc, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba tried to not let the liberals in.

I already have cruise. Ive done it several times in neons without cruise. 15hrs one way. Talk abput a sore leg! I generally do it in one day but im thinking ill take it easy on the old rig and do it in 2. Plus theres an airforce museum ive been meaning to check out a couple hours out of the way of my normal path. I need to pick up some furniture that belonged to my grandma so ill need a truck. Ill put my bed cap on and maybe camp out of the back as long as i can find a place safe from thieves and anal raping hobos.
