Come and get them.

Anything wrong with them Phillip? I really with they were 904's or 727

Yea don't forget rain for the next 2 days also Jeff.

Andy I popped the covers years ago when I picked them up. No problems inside. The A body trans is an alumin case model. The other two are B body long tail housing.

I also forgot to mention its the only thing i have to drive right now too. Oh and i have nowhere warm and dry to work on it. That said, im seriously considering a disc swap. The parking brake hasnt worked since i did all new brakes last summer. I can get bolt on brackets in ft wayne cheap and the chevy brake parts at work. I should be able to do it for about $100 total which makes it very attractive.

I did a disc swap a while back and I love it. Except I don't have a park brake anymore but it hasn't worked for a couple years before I did the swap anyways.

I think im gonna use the k20 stuff and down the road i can always upgrade to the eldo calipers. I need a cheap easy for now. Has anybody messed with the prop valve? It didnt on my ramcharger and the brakes felt fine.

It should be adjusted. I left mine stock and the rear brakes are real grabby. Pretty easy to lock up if you're not careful, especially when wet or on gravel.

Here's an odd one for you transmission guys,
Moved mt M37 from my old shop to my new digs. When the trans is placed in neutral, it wont roll back, only forwards, and does this in every gear. Also noticed the parking pawl wasn't engaging, it finally ended up working free while I was under the truck working the gear selector while rocking the truck.
It's a fresh 700R4, never ran, and other than what fluid was in the converter from the first time installing, has no fluid in it. I'm thinking little corrosion has the drums sticking, not allowing neutral.
It only goes forward when pushed, in every gear, including reverse.
It is for sure the trans, as I checked the axles and tcase for binding and have eliminated them

Case ran quite a few mopar engines in their combines slants to 440s, and there was boats with mopar engines. I believe a few irrigation pumps ran mopars. Not saying that it was as popular as cummins but there was quite a few mopar engines ran in other stuff.

I have no idea other than an issue with the sun shell. I've had them bind up from not setting up the end play correctly. could be something up with the rear support and sprag too.

You sure it isn't just sticking drum brakes?

4 wheel disc's, and I can pop the tcase to neutral and then it will roll backwards.

No, not 100%, I rebuilt it, and everything worked as it should before I installed it. I can shift it and get 2wd, neutral, and 4hi/lo.
I talked with the guy who rebuilt it, and he thinks its the clutches sticking due to it sitting without any fluid, and with where it was sitting, on a concrete pad in an uninsulated pole barn, probably had condensation form inside. Said that it needs pressure to release the sticking clutches.
Guess well see, hoping to fire it sometime around Thanksgiving if all works out
