Funny you should mention 4th gens. Kenworths are nicer to drive than western stars. Western stars throttle pedals seem to have quite a dead spot in them that kenworths just don't. Makes it a little weird to switch between them. The 18 speeds are neat to drive though. At this point though I have no idea how to shift while using the clutch

I never realized how unbelievably, incredibly, shockingly, STUPID so many youngens are.........until I started needing to be on the Book Face so much.

I literally get migraines multiple times a week in the evening, during my FB hours.

Now, I'm not referring to not knowing things about trucks, or things that you learn as you get older. I'm talking about the going on, and on, and on, and on, about explaining the most simple things for an hour straight. The we just went over this 2 posts before type conversations. The total WTF is wrong with this person sort of thing.

Hahahaha! Sorry Eric , now you know why most of us quit trying to help kids on there. It's a perfect example of the dumbing down of America.

See I don't mind handling those questions day in and day out. This goes far, far beyond that. It is the explain something for 10 minutes, yet to find we just made a full circle back to the original question, that I just explained. That they just said they understood. Only to do it again, and again, and again.

Or the same set of 15 questions, and explanation........every single night for a month.

Or the ask the same question in a different way, the following day. Just so that they hope to hear a different reason for the issue. Yet they haven't even done a thing to their truck in order to trouble shoot it. Then do this day in and day out, day after day.

It's also irritating when you explain the simple checks and simple fixes and someone says no I had this exact same problem it was yadayada that's 3 times more expensive and they take that advice instead of simple checks and then get mad when it doesn't fix it.

Or you they get mad at you for trying to help them fix their car over the phone and you don't know what's wrong. Or what you suggested didn't work.

So......what's new? Same old schit people! it's not going to change ;)

Some things are hard to grasp( like what effects timing in our engines) and others are not. Most of those folks just want to run there pie holes and impress people they've never met nor spoke to.

I removed myself from all that garbage.....it's not worth the time or effort.

And then there's the other side where people give you all this "help" that is actually not help. Like when I was having an overcharging issue a few years ago. Everyone told me my 80 amp fuse between alternator and battery was too small and it just couldn't handle the load. Even though I explained many times, that it had been like that over a year with no issues. Still makes me mad when I think about it.

Turned out my alternator was bad and giving off more voltage than was being commanded. I replaced that and guess what? My 80 amp fuse works just fine again.

I'm a nazi for deleting Want-Ads and general questions from a For Sale post.

And then there's the little bitches who firmly believe they have a God given right to come into a man's forum and say/post what they damned well please.

@ Eric, I hope I'm not contributing to your headaches while saying Tomato, while you're saying Tomato.

No sir. Has nothing to do with our thread of saying the same thing as each other.

It is almost always in messaging with what I'm referring to. I can't copy and paste what some of things that I'm talking about for obvious reasons, but I wish I could at times.

But for example........explaining for 20 minutes on what a "core" is, and how that works. And then at the end hearing, well I need to trade my pump. (ME)?Uh, why?, Customer-well I need to trade it for a core. Because a core is new? :? (me speechless).
