I've seen a couple of those. I wonder how many hours that motor has on it if it's top speed is 30mph, and it has 41K miles.

He's probly got $500 in the whole thing. What you're basically getting out of that is a motor. Price is way too high IMO.

I think the truck looks bad, but I'll bet its turning radius beats the full size ones by a mile. :D

When those were on the GSA auction website the average speed driven was 12 MPH. This was on the ones that still had the original speedometer and hour meter.

Using that formula 41,215 miles /12 MPH = 3434.5833 hours. Now hours to road miles average is the hours X 45 MPH
so 3434.5833 X 45 = 154,556.25 average road miles.

The 45 MPH average is what the third gen Dodge guys came up with when they started dividing their miles by their hours on their speedometers.

Even at 50-60 mph, that's still relatively low mileage.

What are you going to race in, the 1/16th mile? It's only got a 7.17 to 1 axle ratio.

I'd take a sawzall to the roof, add some tube and some mud treads and make a trail buggy...if I could find a matching front axle

Like I said, I'd make it four wheel drive if I could find a matching front. Then I'd add some REBAR bumpers like this:
