Trip through Dallas Texas area this week, or weekend.

Postby Mark Nixon » Thu Aug 27, 2009 8:53 am

Looking at buying a '90 1 tonner in the Denton/Dallas area.
Thought I'd put it out there that I can move big parts to those areas, and possibly elsewhere on the way down or back.

Have some 2wd trannies, both auto and manual, some body parts and the bucket seats/console that could make the trip with me.

Mark.

I wish I had seen this sooner. Next time you're in the area let me know. I might take those buckets off your hands if you still have them.

Might happen very soon again!
Looking at buying a truck for the engine and other stuff, so I'll be back in that direction by the end of the month, possibly sooner.

Another trip in the works!

Postby Mark Nixon » Sun Nov 01, 2009 7:17 pm

Sold a tranny on Ebay, guy wants it taken to DALLAS.

Also have some bucket seats to drop off in DALLAS, as well.
Got a truck to go get in Baton Rouge, LA with a stop in to grab acouple parts from CE_TX in east Texas.

Anyone wanting something moved that is big (OR SMALL) that I have, or will be near, this is THE time to ask.

Hoping to push the hauler into service by Wednesday.

I WILL HAVE AN EMPTY 20 FOOT FLAT AREA OPEN TO BATON ROUGE FOR ANYTHING THAT WILL FIT. WITHIN REASON.

It's about "cold season", so it's time to start moving junk again.

ROFLMAO!
If you were into the old Mopar restoration scene, then I'd have to ask you if your cap was supposed to be metal or plastic.
If plastic, was it fine ribs or coarse?
It would probably go on something like, if it's metal, is the top flat or pointy?
Another person might add a comment about full-faced caps, or dog dishes making a difference, and it'd open up a whole new heated discussion.

Ugh, glad you guys aren't that anal..

Is the back set 2 1/2, or 2 3/4?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

IowAY, I failed math, but even I can figure out that you just put it up in a larger fraction that breaks down to the same value.

MMeier, I have posted on there, no replies, yet.
Also posted on CF, no bites there either.

Apparently noone needs cheap transport to Texas/Louisiana, but it looks like I have about an extra week to line something up.
The people wanting the trans sent a deposit, but still haven't sent me an address or directions of where it goes to in Dallas. :?

I'm starting to suspect he's actually going to try to wait 'til Thanksgiving to finalize the deal, not a good option.

FINALLY heard from this guy to-day, by phone.
It looks like I will be leaving out of here by Wednesday of next week.
Amazingly, I STILL don't know WHERE at in Dallas this transmission is going to. :(

Still have space available!!!

Yeah, especially when some people say they want somthing and whine about the cost of shipping.
Give them a screaming deal to bring it, and they usually disappear.

Trying to get something to move off u-Ship is like winning a lottery, too.
