I am still wondering why no one has any tire chains............. buy a set you will be impressed.


I carry a set of double rails for my dually, used them twice...... Pain to put on. I have chained up big trucks four times in one day, in the same spot, I love chains, and would never leave home without them, they are kinda like my bunny boots in the winter.

The bigger the chains, the easier to put on too, double rail 16"ers are not fun.

I think it was more of a ( been plowing 30 hours with no sleep and no one wants to get out of the cab and hook up the chain ) kinda thing. :D

I've always carried chains, but never needed to use them. When I get stuck, chains won't help. Kind of that high centered turtle thing.
RIP 91.5 W250 5 speed. The great experiment.
92 W250 HD 47RH with Compushift. Upgraded H1C to 62/60/16, Scheid Lightning VE, 60# valve springs, DAP 7X.010 injectors, 4" DE exhaust, home made cooler tubes.
