This is a just for fun thread for everyone to post pics of where they work on their trucks and other projects

I don't have pictures of the shop itself but you can see some of it in these two. The main side is a functioning auto repair shop with 12 bays, 7 lifts, an alignment lift, a dyno, and it's completely stocked with everything an ASE certified technician needs. The other building has 4 bays and is where I am restoring my '65 Barracuda.

Here's mine, I was standing on the front fender and leaning back on the overhead door. You oughta see it with the eclb in it.

Oh, the blue boxes on the left side are on the end of the bed, just so you get an idea of length.
I am cleaning up some too, believe it or not!

Well, I can walk around it, and can work on 3 sides. With the '97 you have 2 feet between the bench and the bumper, and the other end is against the door. That's close, but it's better than outside in the snowbank.
I'll try to get some better pics.

Not much but living in a friend's spare room til I find a civilian job finds me with very little space. However this is the first time in over 3 years I have had storage for my tools at the house and not in my storage unit 20 minutes away. This is the first time that red box has seen daylight in a few years and I am no longer needing to haul all my tools around in my truck. I still will thought for precautionary measures once the rear end is back together and the head gasket is done.



My "workbench"


The black bow and the yellow toolbag are usually in my toolbox when my truck's not broken down. Full set of screwdrivers, pliers, 2.5lb sledge, rubber mallet, 300+ piece wrench, socket and allen set. Plus the hi-lift jack, extra fluids, lug wrench, and extra parts I carry. The bed of my pickup might as well be my shop.

There it is in all of its glory. I do most of the work in the driveway though because i like to show my asscrack to the neighbors.

Nice garage.
My neighbor used to work in the drive way for the same reason. I cured him of that, when he was bent over I'd take a pebble and drop it down the crack. I don't know what he got upset about, it was only a small pebble.

Thanks... when me and my girlfriend were looking at houses i fell in love with this garage before i saw the inside of the house. I thought to myself "i dont give a damn what the house looks like, this garage is mine".... Luckily the GF liked the house and here we are.

Built it myself, I just finished installing the doors last summer, so here it is.
