rocking backand forth

sometimes when i drive the truck will rock left to right sometimes very bad and then someimes it will slowly rock back and forth. i was think tie rods but im not for sure. what else would be causing this

tie rods would be a good start. also check steering linkage and all steering arms/rods. there could be a worn part somewhere and you just dont notice it intil ur drivin. give it a look over an let us know your findings

Also could be the alignment/toe in settings.
