frame swap questions.

Postby diesel freak01 » Wed Jun 30, 2010 7:09 am

ok so finally i have found a frame to put under my truck thanks to Mark. i have a few questions as to wha ti should upgrade while im doing it. i have already decided to do the kdp since it will be out anyways. i wanna do the things i should while its eeasy to get to but i also dont wanna have it apart for a month getting stuff done i would really really really like to have it done in a weekend, but if not no biggy.
so here is my request: make some suggestions of what i should do while i have it apart. i already have a lp to install, and i have new brake lines front to rear on my truck now so i will just transfer them over. anything else you guys can think of? thanks guys!

You remind me of me. I did all the things that were easy to do while it's apart... kdp, rear main seal, piston lp, large fuel lines, headgasket/valve job, brake lines, exhaust, etc....

thats one thing i am curious about i had thought about bigger fuel lines while im there but what size do i need? is 1/2 too big for me. or is it not gonna hurt a thing and just be over kill? and what line do i need to get or does it matter as long as its fuel line?

The only down side of big lines that I can think of would be the fact that if you run it out of fuel, you have a lot more air to bleed out of the system.
