New stock MOOG springs (the heavy duty ones) will usually bring the front up a couple inches. If your tires are up inside the fenderwells, the springs are worn out. A stock 2wd CTD will sit an inch or two lower than a 4x4 1/2ton.

My D350 has new springs on the front and it sits almost 3" higher then my D250 with factory 425xxx mile springs.

I ordered Moog 5716s for the 93 about a month ago. They are heavier than the 7226 springs. Went to pick them up today at NAPA, and they had for me...coil springs for a ford tempo. How do you get ford tempo springs out of "MOOG 5716S" wrote clearly on a piece of paper?? Not sure, but still waiting on the correct springs. I will measure before and after ride height once I finally get all the parts together and installed.

What is the coil diameter of those springs? I think the 7226 is about .901", and the 5716 is about .931". I don't remember the exact diameter, but those numbers are pretty close. The 7226 is around 1100 lbs per inch, the 5716 is around 1400 lbs per inch.

Okay, how about RoadChicken?

FWIW, it is/was a 69-1/2 6 Barrel car, with a 4 speed, and it was in fact Red, or Dark Orange, depends on your view of colors.
If you like that sort of thing, I think the owner was wanting to off it.

If I wanted to waste $$$, though, I could build 2 nice 4x4 Cummins 5 speed trucks for what that PILE would sell needing restored.
Actually, it's not THAT bad of a car, but my $$$ are better spent elsewhere, like bills and Property Taxes.

Zack, anything Napa pretty much has is re-boxed and they slap their brand name and $$$ on it.
