So I did some spring stuff this weekend.

Postby pulltilbroke » Sat Jul 23, 2011 8:55 pm

Well last night I started figuring out my spring ordeal, I was over at Jeffs and he started snapping pics with my camera. Any who today I got rid of the stacked blocks and dropped the rear of the truck an inch and a half by taking out the 3"er I had stacked on the 4"er and building a new spring pack. I found 2 broken leaves on the bottom of the drivers side of the old pack.

BTW. It also rides much nicer now :D

looks good!
what are you doing about the d80's larger (9/16) hole on the spring perch? did you make a spacer or just wing it?

are those ubolts 3inches wide? u going to shim them?

thinking im gona throw the d80 under my truck next weekend, hoping will be an easy swap

Yeah I did buy one of Jungles kits but it will be more than a couple hour job.

Actually the stock hole is 9/16, I have drilled the plates long ago and only run 5/8s bolts now, And yes I run 3" wide bolts.
