most electric pumps will max around 80psi but if yeah dead head them they will make around 150 160. i have seen several belt driven pumps that will go 175

The Aeromotive A1000 is a high end EFI pump and it tops out at 90psi (per Summit's website). It is my understanding that EFI systems typically use fuel pressure in the 40's from the fuel pump.

kta u have a regulator in ur set up right, that set up to do 1 to 1 ratio to boost, so what pressure dose it start at, if the regulator is 30 to 75 psi does it mean it starts at 30 and for ever pound of boost it rases a pound of fuel till it hits 75 psi, did i make any sence

I found some electric pumps made by bosch in a web store that said they were good up to around 170 or 180 psi. If they will actually do this I have no idea. those were the only ones I could find at the moment.

whatcha need to do is figure out how much fuel your pump will actually push at 3000 rpm

you know what i mean?

per minute, at 3 grand - everything, including what is returned to the tank

then you can figure out what 'a' pump will do with that demand

I run 12psi at idle plus not quite 1-1 additional refrenced to the boost. I have a boost elbow on my refrence line so its not quite 1-1.

we are trying to put higher pressure into the case than the rotary vane pump produces brian

not just make sure there is lift pump pressure there at all times

i think the vane pump over rides your a-1000 almost instantly (if not at all times)

iow - i dont think your truck knows the A-1000 is there
