I think we have about 2 feet as well. There is a hard base so it's good for snowmobiling

Im pretty sure this will be temporary. I dont like the idea of that much weight sitting on the battery tray. I think im going to mount them on the frame or one in stock location and move the washer tank and mount one there

I had them both sitting on the single battery tray for a year, truck even rolled and battery tray was still A-ok so that shouldnt worry you lol. But i think it looks a little better when there seperated. ( However if i do decide to put them side by side i do have a second battery tray ;) )

Well we barely got a dusting in some places and nothing in most of the area. Temps bottomed out fast and all the wet area from the rain is now ice. I worked for about 1/2 an hour salting and then came home.

Lafayette's more or less shut down. A lot of factories cancelled first shift. I may as well not plow because we have a 20 MPH wind.

We are showing -14 right now. We had 10 to 12". That was fun last night trying to move trailers with the yard truck.

We are at -2 and dropping with 15-20mph winds. This is the coldest I can ever remember. The wind is howling around the house and the little snow that we got is blowing all over

I'm stacking the deck. I brought my battery inside.

The first time I tried to start my truck I got the grid heaters for 60 seconds as expected then the SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW crank a couple times over. Nope

Dad's 7.3L was plugged in overnight and it fired right up. I'm jealous of his 2 new batteries.

I plugged the 7.3 in but I don't think my block heater works on it. It started but was a grumpy bastard.

My pile is gelled up...again. I need to do something different, like start running 70/30 mix of kerosene or something. I will never buy another f'n "anti-gel" product as they don't work, plain and simple. It was even plugged in and had a nice and warm block. My VW started right up and ran like a champ, and it still has 2% bio in it and it isn't gelled...

Hey, now is the perfect time to put a block heater in it. Nothing like a sleeve full of coolant when it's 0*

I wouldn't laugh if I hadn't done it.

Ike, I would suggest you not gamble. Your luck sucks. That's the only thing it can be because you're doing everything right.

-11 before windchill here. I havent been out yet as we have a travel restriction. Plows and emergency vehicles only. I put a heavy dose of howes in. It should start but who knows after reading about Ikes luck. I was out a bit last night and the 255/85 muds I have on did freaking awesome in the 10" or so we had at the time. I think we now have about 14" on the ground. Ill be heading out to my parents' soon "to check on them" but ill be playing the whole way!
