Even though I know the reading was off my best with my current setup un corrected was 16.5. That's still better than my 4th gen ever got with a much more accurate reading

The 03 and early 04 got the best economy, if they have a 6 speed. After that, they got worse every year....

I know with custom tuning the 4th gens can get over 20. One guy even played with his pilot injection and picked up some miles per gallon (also made it quieter but who'd want that) then he played with reducing pilot and ended up with a single event noise.

There's a lot of maps that they use (7 different sets of maps that the ECM chooses based on different conditions, temperatures, and altitudes) there's also a bunch of maps that we can't see or play with (currently we can't get the trucks to fuel past 3200rpm and there's a torque limiting map we can't see)

My dad gets 21.5 hwy religiously with his 04.5 drw.

Ramcharger ad says may trade for cummins truck. Hmm...

Hmm. I wonder where I could find a cummins truck I'd be willing to part with. Darn guess I'll just have to wait. Maybe I could find a 2wd one and make something that's decent on fuel and is a ve ram charger

That way Eric could still be the one with the lifted ram charger

92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.
