CompD. I think judging by cross sectional area alone, they are the largest factory injectors to come in 12v CTD powered Dodges. I don't want to do the math right now, but if I remember right, that's correct.

On another note I now have had my first a$$ whoppin for the year and it comes by way of a duramax engine in an 05 2500HD.
It came to me smoking and down on power after digesting some dirty fuel from a Murphy fuel station. I droped the tank, lines and cleaned them out followed up with flushing of the engines fuel system. I then buckled up the fuel system and ran the truck with a tank rigged in the bed. Truck still had the same symptoms so customer was called and a discussion was had and a path laid out to replace the pump and injectors all at once to elevate in future problems.
Did this work out......sure did.....for an hour of idle time and about 500 foot of travel.
Appears that the common rail fuel systems will deposit garbage inside their wonderful rail(s) and will have said garbage dislodge, find it's way to the injectors, ruining them in about 2min of high rail pressures. Total bs.
This System is freaking stupid.....all of the return and distribution is handled by the drivers rial. This means that the passenger rail will catch/trap/hold any and all trash passed along to it by the drivers rail. Poor designe in my eyes. With diesels inherent capability to grow/nurture organisms,no way would I want to capture it in a 12"long 1/2" wide tube where it could fester up some sort of injector killing machine.
I hate new diesels
