Is there any reason why you couldn't run this cam plate with stock 12mm pump head/plunger?

I'd also like to verify the high rpm return spring numbers. The number I have is:

1-467-010-410

Thanks, Aaron

well the point of the higher lift cam plate is to deliver more fuel and in order to do that the 12mm h&r has to go. without that its kinda pointless

But with a higher lift cam plate couldn't the 12mm h&r deliver more fuel?

Obviously not as much as with a 14mm h&r, but still more.

yes it will how much more? is the question you can only put so much fuel trough the 12mm, the whole point of the cam is to get more fule because the 14mm isnt enough, and with a 4mm your only aprox. 16% more fuel from stock, a 14mm is way more

Thanks, Aaron

That is the part number KTA, Stomp and Scheid Diesel use. It comes as a spring set. You'll get the plate, two washers and two springs. Can't remember the price, while ordering at Scheid recently, I asked if they were the high rpm app, they didn't know, just said those were the only ones they stock and use. They are a different color than stock, bluish iirc.

Thanks for the info. If they are good enough for those guys, it will be good enough for me.

Going to a 14mm with a stock cam is a 36% increase in volume.

With a stock 12mm rotor, switching to a 4mm cam, stock is 3.2mm, you will increase volume by 25%.

So does anyone know of a factory Bosch 6 cylinder pump with the 4.0mm cam plate?

Yeah I emailed them and they said they were planning on a production run in the next month or so. But I thought that there might be a factory pump may have a higher lift plate and I could get a factory bosch piece. But I guess i'll just have to wait if I want one.

I come up with .395... cc's for a 12mm plunger with 3.5mm's of lift and .538 cc's for a 14mm at the same lift.

.538-.395=.143
.143/.395=.362 which would be 36.2%

and to check it quickly, .395*1.362=.538
